+ Are Children Allowed?

Yes, children are more than welcome at Hotel Ynez. You might notice when booking that there isn't an option to "add" children to your room. Each of our guest rooms has one bed and children up to a certain age are able to share a room with adults, or the front desk is able to arrange for adjoining rooms for groups traveling with older children.

+ Is the pool for hotel guests only?

Yes.

+ Do guests have to be 21 and over to access the pool?

Yes, in an effort to better serve our guests, we have changed our pool policy to a 21-and-over only amenity.

+ Are Pets Allowed?

Yes, well-behaved dogs are allowed with a maximum of two dogs per room. A $50 cleaning fee will be added to your room for each dog. Dogs must be on a leash at all times within the common areas of the property. Dogs are not to be left alone in the rooms or on back patios. Dogs are not allowed in the pool.

+ Can I cancel my reservation?

Yes, up to 72 hours prior to the day of your arrival you may cancel your reservation without a fee, please call us at (805) 697-5444

+ When are you going to charge my card for my reservation?

Reservations require an accepted credit card (Visa, AmEx, MasterCard, Discover) at the time of booking. This card will be charged with your first night’s stay at the time of booking, the remainder of your stay will be processed upon checkout. Your card will also be authorized at check-in for incidentals at the rate of $100.00 per stay. You may change the card on file with us at any time by visiting the front desk or calling us at (805)-697-5444.

+ Will I receive housekeeping stayover room cleaning service during my stay?

Yes! We will be refreshing all guest rooms in the late morning and early afternoon. This will be the default, unless you have a tassel on the door handle on the outside of your room door.

+ Do you have free WiFi?

Yes! Along with a guest work station and printer for when you need to work remotely.

+ Do you have a Spa?

Our spa is coming soon. Until then, we can arrange for an in room treatment or make reservations for guests at a neighboring spa.

+ How do I park? Do you have charging stations?

We have a large complimentary parking lot for guests on site, including 2 Tesla charging stations in our parking lot. These spaces are reserved for hotel guests.

+ Can I host a meeting, wedding or event at Ynez?

+ Why don't I have a phone in my room?

While we always prefer a face to face conversation with our guests, sometimes a text works best.  Feel free to text us anytime, throughout your stay with us, whether you’d like a restaurant reservation, directions, or a glass of wine sent to your room. Questions, requests, room service, housekeeping, all at your fingertips.  If you don’t text, then we wont bother you. 

+ Can I smoke or vape in the room?

No, and if you do, we’ll add a $250 cleaning fee onto your room total.
